Continuing with the shows promoting their latest album, “Evil” (2023), the São Paulo thrash/death metal group Faces of Death recorded a live video of “Bloody Cross” at the show held on September 14 at Red Star Studios, in São Paulo. Vocalist and guitarist Laurence Miranda says that the band decided to release the video to introduce the new lineup, in which he plays alongside Sylvio Miranda (bass), Maurício Filho (guitar) and Igor Nogueira (drums). “There is nothing better than making a live video, because it shows the entire essence of the band. We are in an incredible moment and the next show in São Paulo will be on November 29 at the legendary Woodstock Discos in the ‘Sexta Metal project’, created by Marcelo from Impaled Records in partnership with Walcir Chalas. We are preparing a show so that the bangers leave there feeling like they went to a high-level event.” The audio for the live video of “Bloody Cross” was recorded by Red Star Studios, with mixing and mastering by Niko Teixeira, from Audiolab Extreme Studio. “It’s a record of a powerful show by Faces of Death, with a contagious energy that shines through in this video for ‘Bloody Cross’, reinforced by the intense participation of the loyal underground audience. The atmosphere at Red Star was essential to capture this performance, bringing all the quality necessary to make this clip an authentic representation of the band and what that memorable night was like”, said Maurício Filho. “I felt proud of this new work. I would like to thank all the headbangers who made this video insane. We are excited about this new line-up and even more so with the reception of the audience at our shows”, added Sylvio Miranda.

Drummer Igor Nogueira considered the event memorable and celebrated his debut at Red Star Studios. “Recording on the stage where great Brazilian metal bands have played was a privilege, and I’m very proud of the work we delivered.
